Adopting a Pet Bunny

Over the last four generations, we’ve been refining something very specific with our Holland Lops. Each line is intentionally bred and raised for temperament first. From the earliest days, our babies are handled, exposed, and trained with structure. They learn recall. They learn their names. They learn to be carried. They learn how to regulate. Every generation builds on the one before it, selecting for calm nerves, curiosity, and resilience.

Each litter is raised with a model. There is always an older, trained bunny in the environment demonstrating what confidence looks like. They learn by watching. At the same time, I secure a primary human relationship with each baby. They are not just socialized in a group. They bond one on one. They learn what it means to trust hands, follow cues, and rest near a person. So when they leave for their new homes, they are not starting from scratch. They already know what a healthy relationship with a human is supposed to feel like.

Our mission is long term. We are raising Holland Lops that feel safe in the human world. Not shut down. Not skittish. Not ornamental. We are building confident, social companions who seek connection and fully integrate into family life. Every generation moves that standard forward.

Generation Five is different, and I am genuinely excited about it. This is the first generation where the females are also true ringers. The moms themselves were raised from infancy inside this program. They are fully socialized, trained, and deeply comfortable with humans. That changes everything. Now the babies are not only learning from a trained model in the environment, they are also watching their own mother demonstrate confidence, regulation, and connection with people. Modeling is coming from both directions. It is layered, reinforced, and consistent from birth. This is the first time the standard we have been building is fully embodied in the mothers themselves, and that is a major leap forward.

Generation Five Holland Lops – Waitlist & Deposit Policy

Generation Five Holland Lops will be $1,200. These babies are not yet born. This is a priority waitlist for placement.

To be considered, families must first complete an adoption application. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement on the waitlist. I reserve the right to approve homes that are the best fit for this program and these rabbits.

On the application, where it asks “Which bunny would you like to adopt?”, please write:
“I would like to be added to the Generation Five waitlist.”

Once approved, you will be sent an invoice for the $600 deposit. The deposit must be paid within three business days of the invoice being issued. If payment is not received within that time frame, the spot will be offered to the next approved family.

I will only be accepting 10 families. The $600 deposit secures your numbered position on the waitlist. The remaining $600 is due at pickup.

Deposits are non-transferable and apply only to the original approved family.

When babies are born and evaluated, families will be contacted in order. When your number is reached, you will have the opportunity to move forward with the available baby.

If no Generation Five babies are produced, or if there are not enough babies to reach your position within 12 months of your deposit date, your deposit will be fully refunded.

If a baby is available to you within that 12-month window and you choose not to move forward, your deposit becomes non-refundable. If you withdraw from the waitlist at any time, the deposit is non-refundable.

Bunnies must be picked up in Utah. Travel arrangements may be discussed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

Submission of an adoption application does not guarantee approval. Generation Five families are selected based on overall fit, readiness, and alignment with this program. Only approved families will be invited to join the waitlist and submit a deposit.

This structure preserves the integrity of the line, protects the babies, and ensures they are placed in committed, appropriate homes.
